If you start hearing weird or crunching sounds whenever you press the accelerator and the gears change, that’s a sign that your transmission is dying and needs to be repaired.
If you’re trying to drive your car, but it won’t shift into reverse and drives forward instead, you should check your transmission right away. Even though you may think that there’s nothing wrong with it, the fact that your car won’t shift into reverse tells you otherwise.
Fortunately, there are some simple repairs that can solve this problem. However, it can’t be fixed forever, so you should take your car in right away. The longer you wait, the bigger the problem will be, so get it fixed as soon as possible.
If you’re noticing any of these signs, it’s time to take your car to a transmission repair shop. Even if you think that your transmission is doing fine, it is important to have it checked every now and then. Remember, it’s always better to be safe than sorry.
